In the driving direction of the (stroller) frame??

English translation:direction of travel of the frame
Explanation:
This gets the point across but is not super elegant.
Of course, the original German is terrible. If you can figure out what exactly they mean (facing forward? at the front end?) then you could rephrase it.

Based on Phil's info, I'd go with "facing forward."

neutral  philgoddard: Would you call it a frame? I'm not sure. I think it means facing forwards.

-> A 'Gestell' is absolutely a frame. Looking at the picture, it's still a frame. But I would probably say, 'of the stroller', since the frame does not travel by itself.

facing the front of the stroller (frame)

Explanation:
I think we shouldn't stick too closely to the German construction if it doesn't sound right in English.

Always install the baby seat facing the rear of the stroller (frame).
Or:
Never install the baby seat facing the front of the stroller (frame).
