32. RELATED PARTY TRANSACTIONS
(a) Parent entity
The ultimate parent entity within the Group is Nexus Energy Limited.
(b) Subsidiaries
Interests in subsidiaries are set out in Note 23.
During the financial year, the Company provided accounting, administrative and technical services to subsidiaries at cost as set out in Note 2. Other
transactions that occurred were advancement of intercompany loans at nil interest rate and no fixed term for repayment. Loans are unsecured. These
transactions are eliminated on consolidation. Loans advanced to and repayments from subsidiaries are set out in the cash flow statements. The
amounts receivable (including provisions for impairments raised) from subsidiaries as at 30 June 2009 is set out in Note 9.
Guarantee provided to a subsidiary is set out in Note 27.
