However, that doesn't mean that I do.

It used to happen to me when I was living in Brussels where wet grey days are the norm, so when there is a sunny day parks and terraces fill up with people and open-top cars appear suddenly and everybody has the sudden urge to be outside and to feel the sun on the skin, but now I live in Lisbon and here there are much more bright sunny days than rainy days, so much so that in Portugal in some dry years dams are almost empty and we face water shortage.

I'm from Ireland and it still feels weird after 10 years living in Spain not changing my routine for sunny days (but nothing would be done if I did as sunny days is the norm here).

We had an unusually dreary winter for San Diego. I happen to live in a pretty park-like area with minimal traffic, lovely landscaping, and lots of walkways to explore with my dog. Now that Spring is here and the sun is shining, it's hard to keep me indoors. As a result, I do a lot of my work at night.

Not at all. Apr 15, 2019

I live in the tropics, where we have many sunny days. I have pale skin and am very susceptible to sunburn. In addition, I have recently had a skin cancer removed from the top of my head. I should always wear a hat when I'm outside, but then I arrive at my destination with crushed, messy hair.

Therefore, if I'm going to emerge from my climate-controlled apartment, I much prefer to do so on a cloudy--or even rainy--day.

Sunny days = energy, and I get a lot more done on sunny days than on dark/grizzly days.

Luckily, today has started with a clear blue sky and bright sunshine...

I do wish I could work out in the garden, but I just can't see a thing on the screen.
Still when it's sunny I'll go out and do a bit of weeding any time I need a break, and lunch of course will be in the garden too.

It's amazing the amount of reasons not to work that show up every day in these polls. You could write a book with all reasons for not working or working less that are asked here almost every week.

No, I don't feel like working less. I feel like buying an air-conditioner, which I will very soon.

However, I understand if you live in London or Stockholm, it would make sense.
