Some websites and applications evolve rapidly (look at the pace of development here, for example), with regular noteworthy changes. Blog posts by the developer or site operator can be a time-efficient way of discovering that one can now do X, or that function Y has been implemented as requested.

I have been on the ProZ.com forum since 2014. In that time, the only change I can remember of note is the ability to Agree with posts [EDIT and as Hans says, image upload, though I seldom use that so...]. The forum software, which was ancient when I first joined and which I assumed would soon be migrated to something modern like Discourse, is essentially the same. I no longer engage with KudoZ because I consider it wide open to abuse that enables lazy and incompetent competitors at my own expense, but from a casual glance there doesn't seem to have been any material change there either. Stasis, blessed stasis.
In the absence of progress to summarise I don't think blog posts serve much function, and there is no motivation for me to read them. Maybe there have been blog posts offering cogent explanations for the lack of progress on issues like those I touch on above? If so, that's great, but I must have missed them.
Obviously I still frequent ProZ.com, so maybe the site owners are indeed right to think that their users will still pay for membership even in the absence of evolutionary change.

I look at the FB page occasionally, but I don't know if that's what the poll query means by "the blog".
I also get (the usual unsolicited and irritating) notifications from LinkedIn, but I just delete them, as I don't like being interrupted by pop-up messages when working.

Very few changes since 2007 (when I became member) and some are not necessarily for the good: personally, I don’t like the new interface and I know I’m not alone. Instead, it would be most welcome to have changed the way the translation contests are organized. For a while, some of us have pleaded and begged to no avail for a change...

... it had the word 'blog' somewhere in its name, and a direct link from the top-level menu.
Even if I knew it existed (I did ...), and wanted to read it (I don't ...) I'd never have thought of looking for it disguised as 'Translation Postcards' in a 'More' sub-menu under 'Member activities'.

Strangely enough there is no button to disagree. Or a way to remove your own post.
But we can add graphic content now .

I saw the blog today for the first time and I found it interesting, even if it doesn't look different from the original site: it has the same toolbar. For example, even from the blog you can access the Kudos and the Forum.
