Chiunque ha "studiato Inglese" può fare una traduzione giurata ?
Scusate ancora, ma un traduttore, a prescindere della sua formazione........., non dovrebbe avere una partita IVA ? Sostanzialmente: è un professionista o un dilettante ?

Allora, all'epoca ho sostenuto un esame per diventare traduttore giurato per essere CTU del tribunale.
Per quanto riguarda il giuramento, non vi è nulla che osti una qualsiasi persona ad andare a giurare laddove il rapporto in essere sia tra soggetti diversi dal tribunale. Nel caso della topic starter, confermo che può andare a giurare.
Ergo, vi sono due situazioni diverse: a) svolgo i servizi PER CONTO del tribunale (e in quel caso devo essere traduttore giurato, iscritto all'albo), b) svolgo servizi per conto di un committente diverso e posso andare a giurare al tribunale, al quale interessa che pago il costo delle marche da bollo.

Per quanto mi risulta, in alcuni tribunali *chiunque* può giurare una traduzione senza essere iscritto come CTU.
Per quanto riguarda invece la partita IVA, averla è sicuramente un segno di professionalità in più. D'altronde capisco che chi è alle prime armi e guadagna ancora poco non voglia necessariamente sobbarcarsi altri costi (= contributi INPS) oltre a quelli che ci sono già (= tasse e spese professionali varie). Anche se i contributi e le spese professionali li potrebbe portare in deduzione avendo la partita IVA.
Ma poi ci sono anche i traduttori editoriali che non lavorano con la partita IVA: li vogliamo considerare tutti dilettanti e/o principianti?
Riguardo alle FAQ per domande che si ripetono all'infinito tipo fatturazione e ritenuta d'acconto, e chi più ne ha più ne metta, di cui accenna Giuseppe, effettivamente erano state annunciate qualche anno fa, ma poi non se ne fece nulla, purtroppo.
