Danish term
dampes
Danish to English
Science
Food & Drink
Hello everybody,
I'm currently working on a translation from English into German where the source text doesn't make sense to me. I found out that the English text is also a translation and that the original text was in Danish. It contains directions for use for fozen vegetable bundles and I hope someone who speaks Danish can help me figure out what is meant.
So, the original Danish text is:
"Direkte fra frost og dampes i 1 min. før brug"
The English translation is:
"Stream from frozen for about 1 min. before use"
I guess "stream" should be "steam" and this means something like "You only need to steam the frozen vegetables for about 1 minute before you can use it."
Many thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
Best regards
Ingrid
