How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

: If this was any other nationality, I would agree that 'junk' could be used. However, a Chinese junk is an important type of traditional ship, so I don't think it should be used in this context.

I get your point, but I doubt that a properly translated sentence would leave any doubt as to what kind of junk the text refers to.

: I do not like disagreeing too often, but I not only agree with Diarmuid, but I also never heard 'Chinese Junk' in reference to made in china products, I will say it with a cavet though; Google searches - * junk, 1.0 mil including boats. * Knock-offs 740k

Don't worry, I'm not offended. :) People's agreeing/disagreeing with suggestions here at Kudoz is an excellent option as is the possibility of discussing the entries. This is much better than just having 'uncommented' answers for the asker to choose from.
