general appearance

I don't know what AT stands for, but what follows comes under the heading of general appearance/condition in a clinical examination.

No it's definitely not "arterial pressure".

My medical English is British English. Personally I have always used "general appearance" in my medical reports.
Note from asker:
Many thanks. I have a feeling AT might be AP in English and possibly mean "arterial pressure" . Would that make sense?
Peer comment(s):

neutral Susanne Rosenberg : AT = almentilstand :) "Neutral" because I don't know what is used in English, I merely wanted to explain the abbreviation

GENERAL: The patient is awake and alert .....

This is the most common heading in an examination here in the US. We do not add the word appearance. The Danish AT means general appearance. You will probably later on in the report find the letters ET which refers to the Nutritional State.
