US high schools offer honors programs for advanced students who have received good grades throughout their academic careers. An honor calulus or honors physics class is sometimes recognized by colleges and universities for credit.

Credit earned in the High School Honors Program is applicable toward a degree at the College. The credits are transferable, depending on the policies of the receiving institutions. Questions concerning the High School Honors Program should be directed to the Community and Technical College office.
