Non-PRO français vers anglais Marketing Cuisine / culinaire restaurant menu
Hello,

This is an item on a menu

"Foie gras de canard roulé au torchon, brioche toastée et confit de kumquat"

Is it really important to state the way it has been rolled, like with for example with a tea towel.

I don't think tea towel makes it sound any more appetising :) au contraire !

It seems like "Foie Gras au Torchon" is widely used in English, so I'd advise you to keep it in French, maybe with some short explanation in brackets regarding the technique.

Plus, a little French never hurts - especially in fine cuisine!
