institutional research
In a scholarly article on institutional research in reference to sources looked at to gather data on the effects of strategic change:
Outre l’énoncé des valeurs, nous avons utilisé l’énoncé de mission, des ***réalisations particulières*** et l’existence de sagas.
I have looked it up on line and am still fuzzy. Not giving any ideas of my own here not to contaminate the pool.
TIA

: It could indeed mean this, but I'm not sure now, considering the lack of context. Good guess, though!

specific or targeted research
bit unclear what is covered in the term 'réalisations' maybe 'projects' is better but without context....

individual research outcomes
Without much context, it is not easy to understand what is being referenced, but this sounds as if they are assessing research based on a number of things including what each member of staff has achieved in terms of research outcomes - papers/books published, lectures given, conferences organised and the like...
The Drawing Research Group aims to provide, promote and support:
an active programme of individual and group research outcomes in the UK and overseas
involvement in collaborative publishing projects, including TRACEY : the online journal of contemporary drawing research
a physical space for practice in the form of the Drawing Centre in order to facilitate pedagogical drawing research as well as enabling specialist projects to be conducted in a research context
on-going collaborative joint projects with other research partners, individuals and institutions that examine research methodologies around drawing
http://www.lboro.ac.uk/departments/ac/mainpages/Research/sta...
Could be specific research outcomes instead of individual, but that will depend on context.

The AHRB recognises that assessing a wider range of indicators beyond individual research outcomes requires reviewers with a wide range of skills, knowledge and experience. Whilst academic judgements should continue to be made by fellow peers, there could be wider use of users and practitioners as advisers and observers of the process. They could report to an audit body and provide some independent verification on the rigour and probity of the review process. The Funding Councils may wish to consider the feasibility of a two-stage peer review process, with greater use of self-assessment in the early stages in order to reduce the scale of reviewing by panel members of individual pieces of output.

: It could be "research drawn from specific works" (books, speeches, studies). "Réalisations" could just be what others have accomplished. But, in English we may be more apt to just say what those accomplishments are, not that they are accomplishments.

Thanks, Matthew; you are right - in academia in the UK at least, all the talk is about research outcomes since it is the basis on which departments are funded. In my view 'accomplishments' sounds rather like what young ladies achieve at a finishing school

"Réalisations" indicates that these are things that have already been done, so you might like to add "completed" before or after "projects":
"special projects completed"

To my mind, specific projects are not necessarily special.

Symbolic management of human resources
Per-Olof Berg
Perl-Olof Berg is presently working as an Associate Professor at the Management Research Institute; Copenhagen School of Economy and Business Administration. As one of the founders of SCOS (the Standing Conference on Organizational Symbolism) and its first chairman, he has been actively involved in research on the symbolic aspects of management since the early eighties. He is now engaged in a number of action research projects aiming at increasing our understanding of how to organize and manage large collectives.
Abstract
This article begins with the observation of three recent and interrelated trends in management: corporate advertising, internal marketing, and strategic management of human resources. The basic argument is that these trends indicate a shift in managerial focus, from the management of human resources to the management of symbolic resources. Symbolic resources are here seen as symbols, metaphors, images, etc., which in a condensed form represent complex organizational phenomena, and which can be developed and utilized to guide strategic corporate action. There are four types of symbolic resources that seem to be particularly powerful: historical resources (i.e., elements of the corporate saga or epic), basic values and ideologies (as expressed in the corporate policies), particular activities and events (as anniversaries and celebrations), and finally, the company lifestyle (or ethos).

Thanks very much for the idea. I sort of put a combination of your answer and Tarik's. His is closer, though. |

drawn from particular works
Hello,
"Réalisations" is a very vague word in French. It can mean "accomplishments, work carried out, works, projects, and the list continues."
A book in French could be considered "une réalisation de l'auteur."
I hope this helps.
