A chattering government egy orosz cikk hangsúlyozottan nemhivatalos fordításában fordul elő. Nem igazán tudjuk, hogy mit jelent az orosz eredetiben itt álló kifejezés.
A hot-air government mélyen beleágyazódik a politika nyelvébe. A hot-air politician gyakori kifejezés, és a tettek helyett csak beszélő politikusra utal.

: A hot air is csak annyira paliz be, hogy ígérget, de nem teljesít.+ Inkább "intellektuális" és "arty-farty" típus, akinek mindenről megvan a véleménye, de hatástalanok. A legjobb ide a bullshit gvnment lenne, de talán mégsem lehet fordításba beletenni. :)

Erre is, a hot air-government-re is egyetlen Google találat van. A chattering többnyire a chattering class-al kapcsolatban fordul elő. Az értelmi különbség annyi, hogy a hogy a hot air government célja a közönség bepalizása, a chattering government pedig dumál cselekvés helyett. Te tudod, melyikről van szó.

Gondolkoztam ezen egy keveset. A hot air government forditással a következö a probléma - nincs angolul. Angolul a hot air nem jelzö, ezért a hot air government kifejezés nem létezik, és nem is létezhet. Ezt a problémát körülirással lehet megkerülni: the goverment is full of hot air, the government\'s program is hot air, stb. De: The government is hot air - nem, ennek nincs értelme!
Nagyon nem tetszik Mohay felületes kritikája a chattering government elöfordulása kapcsán. Az idézett forditás -ez tény- nem hivatalos, de ha néhány mondatot elolvasunk belöle, láthatjuk, hogy kitünö angolsággal irták. Hadd idézzem:
