Portuguese term
Alfandegamento
Portuguese to English
Bus/Financial
Ships, Sailing, Maritime
Obrigado.

customs warehousing
The most straightfoward way to say this in English, I think.
alfandegamento: derivação masc. sing. de alfandegar (despachar ou depositar na alfândega), from www.priberam.pt.
Thus, "customs warehousing" in English.

Customs Clearance
Customs clearance
All goods destined for or originating from a non-EU country which require UK customs clearance can be processed at the Eurotunnel Folkestone Terminal.
Channel Ports, located in the Freight Driver Centre on the Folkestone terminal, offer a Customs Clearance service 24/7 to all customers travelling with Eurotunnel. All goods are cleared on site and cold store space and unloading facilities are also available.
For goods arriving into the UK, drivers should follow signs for Folkestone - Channel Tunnel. On arrival at Check-in, drivers will need to request Customs Clearance. Drivers will then be referred to the Freight Driver Information Centre. Once cleared, an escort will be available to take drivers off site, so that they are able to continue their journey.

: I would say “customs clearance process” here. I think they mean they want to invest in the port too, not just their areas that deal with the actual clearance process. My best guess anyway. :)

Bonding or Customs Bonding
Alfandegamento would be Bonding or Customs Bonding in this case. Example: Armazém Alfandegado would be Customs Bonded Warehouse.
From the US Customs Site:
A Customs bonded warehouse is a building or other secured area in which dutiable goods may be stored, manipulated, or undergo manufacturing operations without payment or duty.
Sorry this came so late. I just saw it!
