I think the name of the sport would be paragliding in English. Had a friend that did it in Spain.
Haven't found any equivalents but a search online took me to the glossary below that you may find useful, where they allude to this term and from the meaning of the word "cerrojazo" in Spanish, I assume it would be a sharp ending to the take off and maybe this could be what you are looking for; an alternative would be to look for a yahoo group and post a question in their forum. Hope it helped.
