Driver's axles???
Maybe it's a typo for "ojos del conductor"

ejes del conductor I don't know what it is yet, but I just measured my Toyota RAV4, and the top of the steering column is 45 inches (114 cm). I found a reference on the web that listed the altura de los ejes del conductor as being 114 cm, so it is something around the height of the steering column or the vertical middle of the dashboard.
