Spanish term

Corrimiento de los bujes

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Automotive / Cars & Trucks Shock Absorbers
Please I need help with some standards for shock absorbers I am translating from Spanish into English.

Corrimiento de los bujes

Los bujes de los amortiguadores, verificados según 5.5, deben soportar la carga axil, establecida en la tabla 2, admitiendo una deformación permanente máxima de 1 mm.

I need a translation for the title, that is, for "Corrimiento de los bujes". I know that "bujes" should be translated as "bushings" but I don't know what this "corrimiento" is about.

Thank you!

tradugag (asker) Apr 27, 2013:
Corrimiento means that they are displaced, I guess, but that's why I am asking. I'm afraid I need an answer from someone who knows about this technical issue. Thank you!
