Hello, I am working a description of conifer tree and the leaf base is described as ...estrechada coin cojinete.
I was doing some research and saw this is sentence ."..En botánica, los pulvinos o pulvínulos son engrosamiento o ensanchamiento en forma de cojinete de la base de la hoja---"
I also saw a photo of "ficus cojinete" but I am still not clear on its meaning. Is is it like a "bundle" at the end of the stem ? or a type of support ?
