One of several FAQs I am translating talks of parts of a building being protected and the GMU (Gerencia Municipal de Urbanismo) awaiting an "informe urbanístico". As part of the response there is:
"Mirar "Alegación al Documento de Aprobación Inicial nº XXXX", a la GMU en Anexo Final."
My dictionaries basically give "declaration" as the translation of "alegación" and I see that "alegación al documento" is commonly used, but what exactly does it mean - an addition?
