Any ideas? Thanks.

Discussion

SwissTell, this is NOT a typo. It is called Catalan ;-) and it is correct (llauna) as is. Bacalao is watered, desalted cod, and 'llauna' is the Catalan word for 'lata' (tin/can): This dish is prepared in the oven on a metal tray.
swisstell Jun 20, 2007:
Bacalao a la Lluna. Perhaps it is a typo and should be Lluna. There are a number of restaurants with that name in Spain.

oven baked codfish

llauna- deep aluminum/tin baking dish.
Ingredientes para 6 personas

1 kg de bacalao desalado
20 gr de pimentón
1 vaso de vino blanco
4 dientes de ajo
harina, sal, aceite de oliva y perejil

Tiempo de realización 30 minutos.

Preparación

Peer comment(s):

neutral Irene Schlotter, Dipl.-Übers. : In Catalonia the expression 'a la llauna' is very common in connection with certain dishes, but always with this particular type of preparation. I do not think the 'llauna' part should be understood as a proper name (as opposed to e.g. Beef Wellington),
