This is an expression in reference to an anecdote where two Argentine artists living in Paris were arrested in May 1968:

En este sentido, y no sin picardía, su amigo recuerda que volvió ansioso por participar de la revuelta; por eso fueron a Flins y “cayeron como chorlitos”.
