I see two different uses of the term.
In the first referring to work carried out, which would need to be registered, presumably closed or "settled", and in the second case meet with the installers seems the most appropriate use.

En la primera parte del texto, "asentar" significa cerrar los trabajos que han visto, es decir, cerrar el negocio.
En el segundo se refiere a reunirse y discutir puntos del proyecto ( en este caso se infiere que el proyecto está cerrado)
