I wouldn't give "existente" any importance here.
Maria, I don't think it's a divorce, as XXX and ZZZ are both men. Maybe they're brothers who inherited a property from their parents, and now they've split the original property in two, so each brother can have his own private bit?

Joint tenancy severed means jointly held property split into a tenancy-in-common = split property held separately.
