The prophets of Israel yesterday and today

Saludos :)

Israeli prophets/prophets from Israel

agree JaneTranslates : Sorry to duplicate; I'm a slow writer! But I would say "The prophets of Israel" or "Israel's prophets"; I don't think Elijah can be referred to as "Israeli."

past and present

Or "then and now." Both are common fixed phrases.

Israel's prophets, past and present.
Israel's prophets, then and now.

Thank you, Cinnamon.
agree Taña Dalglish : Agree. While there may be some experts in the subject matter, I am inclined to think that it was a native English-speaking person would say; my option: "past and present". Un abrazo Jane.

now and then

Peer comment(s):

neutral JaneTranslates : There's a big difference between "now and then" (occasionally, from time to time) and "then and now" (past and present). I don't think "now and then" would be appropriate here.
