Born in China into a multinational environment, I grew up speaking Chinese and Mongolian natively. I spent most of my life learning English.
I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, specializing in English and teaching Chinese as a foreign language. During my degree, I took part in a project to protect Chinese-Mongolian accents, which deepened my intercultural knowledge and linguistic understanding. After university, I spent four years in Korea. During that time, I was deeply immersed into the Korean language, which I now speak to full proficiency.
Since 2019, I'm located in Japan, immersing myself fully into Japanese language and culture. At Osaka university, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Sociology of Language to deepen my skills in cross-cultural communication. I consider myself fully proficient in Japanese, as I attend university lectures in Japanese and have also worked in Japanese language environments.
Besides several years of language teaching, I have professional experience doing JP>CN translations and quality control. I have translated a 300-page book about accounting, but my project portfolio also includes nationally distributed magazine essays, legal documents and other projects for big Chinese publishers.
Moreover, I am familiar with interpretation to facilitate cross-cultural understanding. Thanks to my personal interests, I am most knowledgeable in social sciences, history, and music. I am looking forward to helping you create natural and professional translation services from Korean, Japanese, and English into simplified Chinese. |
