English to Portuguese Other Human Resources Formal Hearing

If a formal hearing is needed, your manager will tell you about it in good time. You will be given the chance to look at the evidence before the meeting.
You will be sent a copy of the evidence with the letter inviting you to the disciplinary hearing or, if there is a large amount of evidence, you will be able to see it before the meeting starts.
You have the right to bring a representative with you to this meeting. Your representative can be:
- A fellow employee.
- A full-time trade union official or a lay trade union official that is certified by the union as experienced or trained to be a representative.
