I vaguely understand what this means but clarification would be welcome. It's some sort of inspection thing for a manhole.

Lapidino also said lapide is the cover of a drain well and is normally closed. Otherwide it would be a grill. I would add the translation of C.A.V. which should be "cemento armato vibrato" normaly usede for walkable and carriageable parts.
