He was “ready to help” and thought he can get me to the XXX Schools. I did not know when I sadly sat after missing my chance what I escaped. He wanted me to meet his colleagues at the Ortho meeting.

Nel racconto per lettera, parla di un importante professore. La frase è un po' strana, lo scrivente non è madrelingua inglese. Inoltre ha questo stile di scrittura secco, con frasi poco collegate. Però il senso più o meno si capisce. Vorrei una conferma.
