Dutch term

annuïtair dalende overlijdensrisicoverzekering

Dutch to English Bus/Financial Insurance
It's the 'annuitair' bit I am not sure about - it is contrasted with 'linear decreasing term life assurance'. I have been trying to working it out from the example in:
http://www.verzekervoordelig.nl/verzekeringen/zorg_en_inkome... but my maths is not up to it. Something to do with annuities ? Is it geometric instead of linear.

decreasing, annuity-based life insurance or assurance

I'm not a specialist in insurance matters -- gelukkig heb ik meer verstand van techniek ;-) -- but linguistically speaking this should do the trick. I guess annuity-based life insurance would be analogous to annuity mortgage schemes. I used to know all about that when I bought my house 20 years ago, but I must admit the finer details of this financial construction have since escaped me...

agree Lianne van de Ven : Annuity-based is very good! It's a progressive decrease indeed.
