French term
grande serie/tres grande serie
French to English
Tech/Engineering
Engineering (general)
precision machining - metal
There is a glossary entry and it refers to the same field (machining), but doesn't answer my question.
I know what it means, but am wondering how to render 'tres grande serie' in a concise way in English. Here is a good example of these two terms used together in French
http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moulage_par_injection
but how would we make the distinction in English?
High volume mass production? Mass production (very large run)...? There must be a better way! Suggestions appreciated. Thanks.

I think you can probably afford to keep it as simple as that...

Comment: "I think in the end I went with the high/very high volume option - so thanks both to Dusty and to Alan Jeffs. "
