which has developed into

No dispute about what "acutiser" means, but translating contextually this is surely enough, since "acute" is already mentioned (aigue must be aiguë). So it would be a tautology to say "which has become acute as acute myeloid leukemia". If it has developed into an acute condition it has necessarily become acute; there's no need to say it again. And I can't see any need to add "from a chronic condition" either.
Note from asker:
Thank you, simple and to the point. The acute stage did not last very long as the patient died.

"Progressed" is better; I thought there was another verb but it wouldn't come to mind. Thanks, Helen!
agree dwt2 : "which underwent transformation to..." is also often used in this context

Thanks! That would do perfectly well, I think.
