A dolog a szövegben a minőségi átvétellel szembeállítva szerepel (annak az angol megfelelője is érdekelne, mert nem tudok rábukkanni semmi igazán megfelelőre). Amúgy egyszerű szállításról van szó, x akármit leszállítanak egy teherautóval; a minőségi átvétel a szállító, a mennyiségi átvétel pedig a megrendelő telephelyén történik. Mint írtam, a szövegkörnyezettől sok függ. Az acceptance valóban könnyebben megemészthető.
A take-over rendszerint akkor fordul elő, ha előtte hand-overről beszélnek, és ez rendszerint időmegkötésekkel együtt szerepel.
Rengeteg módja van másként leírni, hogy átvételkor megvizsgálják az árut:
The load is checked upon delivery. / The quantity will be checked against the Delivery Note. / Any quality issues will be taken up at delivery. / The quality and quantity of delivery will be examined.... stb
