Portuguese term or phrase: choro/Chôros
since it's about Brazilian music, i guess the terms are actually Portuguese, "choro" and "Chôros" seem to have some connection, the terms in context refers to the music pieces of Brazilian composer Heitor Villa-Lobos, i've found some info says that "choro" is sort of a music genre created by Villa-Lobos-but in some part of the article it simply look like a music work done by him; and it says these works were inspired by "Chôros"...then Villa-Lobos wrote "the Noneto"...
can anyone tell me what these terms really are?
with tons of thankfulness!

Vila Lobos drew on this popular musical form for his compositions. They are not in and of themselves choros. Just based on them.
