  -> Vous avez raison pour le trait d'union! J'ai remis cette option car je ne la conçois pas dans le sens figuré de "à son insu", mais uniquement dans son sens propre.

J'ai proposé ces deux traductions parce qu'il me semblait que la phrase isolée ne permettait pas de dissiper le doute, mais après relecture je pense que c'est plutôt « par-derrière » en effet.
