I received the same mail but this time it was a certain Alanron22@yahoo and have already received the same type in August by a certain Hellenii, always disabled and the phone number they give is a mobile phone number ....

Justified and hillarious though it undoubtedly is, I don't think it a good idea to engage with these people in any way. After all, I assume that at least some of them are quite adept with information technology and are thus well capable of doing nasty things like planting a virus in your computer, committing identity theft, or concocting web references associating your name with various unflattering activities.

In general, the less you interact with scammers, the better. Even answering their messages will let them know that your email address is active and it will make it more "valuable" for spamming activities.

I received the same emails and unfortunately replied with my address in Italy. No bank accounts or other details like that were given. Only my address in Italy. They replied:

I simply refused to accept the UPS parcel containing their check and the scammers have been informed about it. I am not going to reply to any of their messages/calls. If they get insistent, I will immediately go to the police.

I replied to a job offer a couple of days ago and the answers (2) I have received are almost exact copies from the ones mentioned in this thread. So he goes on! I am not certain about the best course of action, but I understand that blocking him and posting a warning here -thanks to you all for the valuable info!- are highly recommended...

Just finishing touch adding and subtracting can come up but that will not stop us from taking the next step which is payment. I am willing to pay 30% allfront of the total amount, at the end of the total work you will receive the balance.Dont have problem also in paying inbetween project and at the end. I do understand the trust one need to build when it comes to transaction online.
