: I think you may have omitted 'termination', and I'm not sure that in this context, it is necessarily 'w.r.t. the wall surface'??? / I don't believe so, F-X; I think 'termination' refers to the element used to terminate the duct (cowl, etc.)

'termination' refers to the surface of the 'mur fini' (i.e. where it extends to when it has been cladded, with tiles, for example, and the job is 'terminé')
