A deed to secure debt executed by a joint tenant with right of survivorship under O.C.G.A. § 44-6-190 did not sever the joint tenancy. Thus, when a decedent executed a deed to secure debt on property he held jointly with his sister, the decedent's death made the sister the sole owner of the property, and the deed to secure debt was void.
