Spanish term

Pensadores cuya magnitud no permiten identificar un calificativo

Spanish to English Art/Literary Poetry & Literature Borges, Jorge Luis
Esta oración tiene un tono muy poético! es una descripción sobre Jorge Luis Borges.

Pensadores cuya magnitud no permiten identificar un calificativo del todo exacto para referirse a ellos, que hacen enmudecer a quiénes los escucha, delineando un antes y un después de su existencia, tal es el caso de escritor Argentino Jorge Luis Borges.

Me cuesta darle ese tono tan poético!!!
Gracias

Thanks Marian. I sort of feel some adjective is needed, but facile may well not be the best one.
agree Evans (X) : I like the turn of phrase, but I think 'facile' is overtranslation in this instance.

Thanks Gilla. You could well be right, but nothing better comes to mind. Does anything occur to you?

Thinkers who are so great words cannot describe them

Although the original version is very poetic, I think the English version needs to be a bit more down to earth in order to sound natural and less strained.

"words cannot describe them"; "there are no words to describe them".

No words could be powerful enough to possibly describe such an astonishing character as JLB

Well, you are right! Because in English we do not use those weird statements at all, so I would transalte it different alltogether, something similar to the one exemple above
