Hi everyone,
So I know this verb means to sense or perceive, but I feel like it's doing something else here as well that I can't pinpoint. As in is it also a play on the root for hair?
In this scene a young girl is fighting against having to get her eyebrows threaded by an Indian woman. (her name is Effie)
