Thanks. A "course" takes place in a classroom in my point of view, whilst a "trip" or "excursion" is in the field (hence, outside the classroom).

Perhaps "bosklas" is a Flemish expression rather than a Dutch one...

: I think you don't understand the original, Luuk. "Bosklassen" are not courses about woods and "zeeklassen" are not courses about the sea.

You are right! Perhaps something like "sea-related activity and education programme" would be better? It does not exactly sound pretty though...
