Not sure how it fits into the process you describe, but 'autoclaving' means putting objects (usually surgical instruments) in an autoclave in order to sterilise them by means of superheated steam.

agree Gordon Park : Some industries use an autoclave to 'cure', for example, resin systems (i.e. make them harden). Many airplane parts are made in this way! The autoclave operates at high temperature and under pressure

agree Dave Calderhead : and with Gordon - I worked at a precursor of British Aerospace in the autoclave deartment where honeycomb and the verneered parts for aircraft furbishing sections were glued with resin compounds under heat and pressure in the autoclaves
