Dutch term

de neuzen dezelfde kant op krijgen

Dutch to English Other Idioms / Maxims / Sayings
In an employee survey, response by an employee.

Op het moment dat er iets misgaat/laat
komt binnen een project, is het belangrijk om heel snel de neusjes weer dezelfde kant op te krijgen en de mensen weer gemotiveerd aan de slag te krijgen.

I understand the meaning of this - to get people thinking in the same direction, thinking along the same lines, jointly focussed, etc. Am trying to think of an appropriate expression that fits the context/register.

Many thanks

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer. Comment: "Many thanks to all of you, selected this option but several of the others would have worked too. Suzan - I took your comments and added 'again' to convey the sense of returning to how things were."

get all your ducks in a row

I'm sure I have seen this question before, but it could have been at the SENSE forum.

make sure everyone's on the same page

or 'on the same wavelength'. Another suggestion.

to get everything back to normal

While a literal interpretation involves the idea of rowing in the same direction, being on the same page, I can't help but feel the sense as used here is to get things back on track after a disruption, to restore order, to get things back to normal. But maybe that's just me.
