Discussion

"I think H/h may be hoofd/hals."

Is an option.
If they mention other findings under H/h in this area, this would further support it.

Or after 'H/h' proceed to 'chest/chest wall', this may be a further indication.
Pamela Downes-Grainger (asker) Apr 19:
I think H/h may be hoofd/hals.
kunstelementen = artificial teeth (e.g. used in a bridge to replace missing teeth), also called 'pontics'.
One of the meanings of 'ab', as a preposition, may be 'in'.

Preposition

6. (indicating location): at, on, in

Agree that 'in' the mouth is most likely here.

They want to check whether there is an open airway and prevent aspiration of blood and loose 'elementen', which most likely means 'gebitselementen' (teeth) here.
Kunstelementen in situ In this context, it likely indicates that "artificial dental or similar prosthetics are still in place, and there is no evidence of blood in the mouth"

I'm not clear what H/h or kunstelementen are.

Ab Oris (from mouth)

It is actually "Ab Oris" in Latin which means "from mouth"
Peer comment(s):

agree Barend van Zadelhoff : In this case most likely 'in' the mouth. See D-box entries.
