carotte de prostate= prostate biopsy, which is a core of tissue, roughly cylindrical.
guide= guide for insertion of prostate biopsy needle

unlike a cathether which often has a "guidewire", a "guide" for insertion of biopsy needle is used for taking the core of prostate tissue.

"carotte de prostate" refers to the core of prostatic tissue, not to the shape the prostate gland itself.......
"aspiration biopsy" is fine-needle cytology sampling for cytology, not the biopsy of tissue for histological examination of the tissue. It is a different procedure, processed and evaluated differently, not the same thing. Both are indeed anatomic looks at the cells but aspiration is for cytopathology, and not histological biopsy showing tissue architecture of lesion.

Guide for a biopsy of the carott-shaped prostate gland

The male accessory apparatus was of a highly complex type. In addition to the carrot-shaped prostate gland with three clearly discernible portions (anterior, central and posterior), three other pairs of glands were identified, which for the purpose of the present study have been designated as 'Cowper's glands' (A, B, and C)
