A term on a menu.
The doubt I have is what "gambas" could be.
There is no mention of this term in Aurélio, and although I know that "gambá" is skunk (I first thought "gamba" could be a typo) and "gamba" is leg in Italian, I could hardly imagine either combined with codfish. Any suggestions?
Oh, BTW, the menu is for an official event organised in Portugal.

Definitely the best answer. "Penaeus shrimps" a bit too technical for a menu I would say. I have chosen "prawns" rather than "shrimp" due to the European clientele. I will, however, mention the "salted" aspect. BTW, I do hope to try it some day, it has made my mouth water!
