I'm trying to find an accurate translation for this. I'm unsure whether 'Productos Sanitarios' refers to 'medical devices' or 'health products'/'sanitary products'?

My attempt: Department of Pharmaceutical and Health Products Monitoring'

For context the document is an appeal regarding a clinical trial and the appeal for its approval was sent to the 'Área de Control Farmacéutico y Productos Sanitarios' who in turn commented.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated :)

Asker: Thanks Andy. I think that's a good translation. And I agree with you Phil on translating Area as Department for this one, based on what I've seen in other similar documents. But I equally think your suggestion is correct Andy. Thank you both for your input/help!

agree  Robert Carter: Part of Agencia Española de Medicamentos y Productos Sanitarios, so this is a division of that agency. I tend to keep it close to the original with these names (you usually find there's also a "departamento" too somewhere), so I'd simply use "area".
