Hello
I have some vague idea of what this might be as I've already come across "Mesulekonstruktion" (lit: mid + pole) but what do we call a sidesuhus in English IF we even have a word
Nu finns det minst fyra olika hus som delvis
ligger ovanpå varandra och ett hus bredvid.
Alla är ***sidsulehus*** med två takbärande
stolphålsrader.
I just can't find it.
Help please
Thanks

Longhouse with three aisles
Judging from articles like this http://www.hurstwic.org/history/articles/daily_living/text/l... there is no specific term in English for the "sidsulehus", which is also referred to in Swedish as a "treskeppigt hus" - see e.g. http://tinyurl.com/j6t4gmd (a .pdf report from Riksantikvarieämbetet)
