Swedish term
fastighetsavgift
Swedish to English
Law/Patents
Law: Taxation & Customs
"fastighetsavgift" as contrasted with "fastighetsskatt" (property tax/real estate tax/tax on real property).
There is a difference in Swedish law, however in my view they both translate to "property tax."

: "Fastighetsavgiften" was introduced in 2008; there is thus not a chance that "Norstedts stora svensk-engelska ordbok, Norstedts Förlag AB, 1993" can provide a proper translation. Kindly read my references!

community charge/council tax
Sounds like our council tax (what used to be the poll tax in the 80s and has been called other names since), which is now calculated according to the size and value of a home. That's what I've used (I said community charge) this before, albeit for UK English.
