I actually tried DNS 13 with MemoQ shortly after my previous post, but I forgot to come back and share my results.
It turns out, DNS (DPI) 15 is the problem here. DNS 13 works beautifully with MemoQ. Maybe once or twice every four or five hours DNS will freeze for about 10-20 seconds, but it seems possibly unrelated to MemoQ and I never have to restart either program to get things working again.

Hey Bree,
I came here looking for a solution for the DNS 15 and memoQ issue, and I would like to try DNS 13 now.
Where did you get that version?
I own DNS 15, but there does not seem to be way to download version 13 from Nuance. Any idea where I can get that older one? I suppose with the newer licence one can also use the older software, right? Or did you have to buy it?

my main client recently switched from using wordfast to memoq. I have worked with them for many years using wordfast and DNS (currently version 15.61) with no real problems. Has anyone figured out how to backtrack from DNS 15.61 to DNS 13?

I'm currently running the newest version of Dragon (16) very happily with memoQ. I'm even getting Select-and-Say functionality. Am using it both for dictation and commands.

Michael: which version of memoq are you using? I installed a trial version of DNS (DPI) 16 and it still does not work at all (no dictation available at all) with the web based memoq version available from my client for translations. very frustrating to say the least.
