An option to select a second, or at least a secondary forum for a topic

Sometimes, when posting a new forum topic, one has hard time selecting the right forum for their topic. This is because the subject is often covered by more than one forum. For example, a topic about paying or not paying an editor in full for a job that hasn't improved after being edited can be posted both in "proofreading / editing / reviewing" and "money matters" forums. Selecting just one of these forums would mean that the message would not reach those, who check only the other forum. ... See more

For example, a topic about paying or not paying an editor in full for a job that hasn't improved after being edited can be posted both in "proofreading / editing / reviewing" and "money matters" forums. Selecting just one of these forums would mean that the message would not reach those, who check only the other forum.
In this respect, I think it would be helpful to add an optional field to select a second forum on the page of starting a new topic (or if this may confuse the sorting, a secondary forum, related to the subject discussed). Those who think that their topic is covered by two forums can select this option, and the thread will be displayed on both forums.
Another helpful thing would be to add a brief explanation of what each forum covers on that forum's page. ▲ Collapse
