I am trying to install Transit 3.0 Smart (with parallel-port dongle) on a new computer (OS: Windows XP Home edition).
The installation has not succeeded, the computer complained about the dongle.
When I click on Dongle diagnosis on the install CD, the following error window appears:

Sorry, HASPDiag does not yet operate under Windows NT 5.0.

I asked my client who had provided the dongle and the CD (which work perfectly well on my notebook with XP), and he sent a driver, hdd32.exe, that should normally smooth things out - but it did not, as I got the following error message

Severe
Failed to start the Alladin Device Driver
Failed to start a service in the Service Control Manager Database.

Any ideas who to proceed?
Attila
